Fluorescence

A diamond's tendency to glow (typically blue) under UV light. Faint and medium fluorescence are commercially neutral. Strong blue fluorescence in D-F colors trades at a 5-15% discount but can mask a yellowish tint in J-L colors — a contrarian value play.
